Visited this great little pub during a half term holiday in nearby Salwayash. The pub is in a beautiful location overlooking some beautiful Dorset views; the Landlord is very friendly; the local Palmers beer, delicious; and the home cooked food, very tasty. I hope it’s paying a compliment by saying that the meals were the perfect size to make you feel full but not stuffed. Nestled within the heart of Dorset, this quiet pub provides quality food and an authentic English countryside experience. Bob is an exuberant and skilful host with a killer sense of humour, complementing the night as a whole. We will most definitely be back in this wonderful establishment…

Fantastic landlord! We only had some complementary roast potatoes ( which were delicious) as there was live entertainment on but the menu looked fantastic. It's now on our list to go and eat there.
