Pubs • “Visited the pub last night , Tuesday. A bit quiet , but most places are midweek , at this time of year. Beer was amazing and the staff were what you dream of on a pub. Superb. Great fun and knowledgeable. The lovely lady recommended the mushroom soup and she was right. Incredible. 5 of us had it. She also said the Lamb and mint suet pudding was good. It was exceptional , not to minty , which was fine. Service was first rate and we really enjoyed it. Beautiful pub to , Ringwood ales , brilliant staff , food was amazing. What more can you want. Thoroughly recommend. Thanks.”
Pubs • “Great brasserie style pub with a really great menu and super friendly, attentive staff. We had scallops & ham hock terrine for starters, both were generous sizes and beautifully cooked (also a proper amount of toast with the terrine). Then the slow cooked short rib of beef with dauphinoise & the bream with bouillabaisse, again both were delicious. We then finished off with dark chocolate marquise and a pistachio souffle which were perfect. Have already recommended to family and will be back again soon”
Pubs • “We booked for a large number for a birthday. 18 meals were ordered, every single meal was amazing, tasted great, roast dinners were homely and so nice, pie was amazing, great portion sizes! Every meal came out piping hot which is rare for such a large table! Staff were great! Not one complaint!”

Pubs • “We stopped at this pub to get out of the rain on our walk. We were thinking of having a snack but my partner decided to have a Thai dish. I ordered a cheese toastie with a Thai salad which was delicious. My partner said his Thai dish was the best he had tasted. The staff were so friendly and could not do enough. Will definitely go back. Christine W”
Pubs • “We were welcomed in with a smile and seated at a lovely table! The menu was excellent, very good choice for my coeliac husband! Beautifully presented food, very nice staff and the restaurant is immaculate! To try and top that, excellent value for money, we’ll be back, thank you!”
Pubs • “We had a post-funeral wake here this afternoon. The staff were lovely and couldn’t do enough for us and the buffet was varied, fresh and very tasty. It was a nice touch that the ? manager came out into the garden to say goodbye to us at the end of his shift and the chef provided boxes to take home some of the buffet leftovers. We appreciated the kindness and sensitivity of all the staff.”

Pubs • “Now known as Walkford Cafe. My wife & I had the best full English breakfast we have had for years and very reasonably priced too. Looked after by two friendly young ladies we were able to sit inside with our little dog. FE Breakfasts are served until 2 p.m.”
“Fantastic food, great value. Restaurant was busy but we could still hear each other speak. Good sized portions. We were all very pleased with our roasts. Terrific selection of vegetables too. Would certainly come again when next in the area.”
