Recently stayed overnight, and dined in too. Nice and warm bar & eating area, well decorated and good service speed. Breakfast was also included, which was much appreciated.The room was a bit 'worn' with a few chips and thin curtains, and an unusual shortage of plug sockets (lots blocked off, and I had to unplug the TV to stick in my phone charger as the bedside lamp was in the other socket).Very well stocked tea/coffee set, though, along with not one but two radiators, and the...read full review

We stopped for a meal on the way back home from Salisbury, the food and service were great, thanks. I did find the dining room noisy, it's a silly thing really but as there is no carpet sound reverberates so it's difficult to chat quietly without all diners hearing! The toilet could definitely do with a 'face lift".Food & drinks: Fine.

Friendly pub and restaurant. Went on a Sunday, the menu wasn't extensive but was fine. Not the easiest place to walk to or from as the paths in the area all end on the road a little way away from here, though we managed it. Massive car park here though if you are driving.
