We have just celebrated my Mother’s 80th birthday. The food, service & atmosphere were all amazing. There were 20 of us and we had an area all to ourselves. All the food was delicious and the staff were very attentive and helpful. Thank you for making our celebration a success.

Although I grew up in Wimborne, this was my first vist to The Old Thatch. And having just experienced outstanding service from our waiter John, I have been compelled to write this review. From the moment we (10 including 3 under two's) were shown to our table, John was extremely attentive and informative and always smiling whatever was asked of him, a true credit to The Old Thatch!! Just had a lovely Sunday dinner at the Old Thatch with the family, we was seved by John, best service we have had at a restaurant, kept making sure everything was ok and we had all we needed. Very nice young man. Polite attentive and very patient. We will be certainly coming back again for the evening menu during the week. Would highly recommend to friends and family.
