Absolutely amazing! The nicest, most friendly staff, the landlady Vicky is easy a 10/10 with her customer service she’s so welcoming. Lovely relaxed atmosphere and great food can’t wait to visit again when next in the area. Would 100% recommend.
Absolute gem of a pub. Us and our dog was made to feel very welcome by Vicky. Lovely food, log burning fire and good selection of beers what more could anyone ask for. If we’re ever up that way in the future we wouldn’t hesitate to call again. Thank you

From walking into The Golden Lion we were made to feel welcome. The landlady was lovely and chatty but professional. We sat by the log fire which was needed on a cold day! Food was tasty and it was good to hear that end of February she would be doing local sourced food and home cooked meals. I can’t wait to go back. Would definitely recommend
