We had our first family Christmas dinner here and the food was brilliant; as was the service. I don’t think we will do anything else from now on! The regular menu is also great and I highly recommend the burgers!

The Aviator Gin Bar
Hangar, 18 Northfield Way, Newton AycliffeI really want to say how amazing the staff are in this place. We got the bottomless brunch and unlike some other places where you're trying to flag a bar person down for a top up here they were straight over to the table without us even calling out. Made the night run so smoothly. They were friendly and welcoming and couldn't do enough for us. Thank you for a great night. Food was lovely too.

1, Beveridge Way, Newton AycliffeAbsolutely incredible value for money! Me and my son ordered the burger Platter for delivery and the only word I can use to describe this is; WOW!!
The amount of food was incredible and the quality was amazing. Could have easily fed more than just us 2! The delivery was swift and food arrived hot and still very fresh! The salad was still very crisp and and not greasy like other usual burger delivery’s we have had in the past!
Will definitely be returning!!

Greenwell Rd, Newton AycliffeUsually pretty quiet so don't have to wait ages like some Costas. Don't forget to put your vehicle reg if using the attached car park (if staying over 1 hour) . Car park has limited parking although plentiful nearby car parks available.

6, St Elizabeth Close, Woodham, Newton AycliffeCame for a little a meal and was very impressed with what was offered i had a Shashlick and Tandoori Roti and it was lovely got to say the food was very good could even say the best Indian ive had if your looking for a quick nd simple meal i wld recommend the interior is very nice for aycliff wouldn't expect something like this to be in aycliff will definitely be coming back for another meal some time soon!

13 Leaside, Newton AycliffeHad food from here a couple of times now, and I can honestly say, well I think it's hard to find good kebab meat and this kebab meat is honestly one of the best I ever had. I had the rap and the rap was perfect as well, not to thick. Just right in fact I finished it all which I never do. Also I don't think they normally deliver where I live and they did for me. Very nice and friendly people. Thank you. Definitely will be recommending and going bk.

10 Carer's Way, Newton AycliffeJust got 2 medium fish and chips £19. Got it home and plated 1 fish on each plate, went in the bag for the chips and there was another parcel of 2 fish! So 1 portion was 2 huge pieces of fish. Same with each tray of chips! Enough in each serving for 2 people. Fish was lovely, hot with thin crispy batter, chips not so good, very dry. However overall a pleasant enough tea time meal for 2 (or 4) ?

Andrew is a spot on guy whose customer service is of the highest standard….. highly recommended by me ?

Domino's Pizza - Newton Aycliffe
Unit 3 Greenwell Rd, Newton AycliffeStandard Domino's pizza, same as every other Domino's in terms of taste etc. Never really had to wait too long, usually just order at home and by the time I go to collect, it's ready. Domino's will never get 5 stars though, purely due to the price point. We do like their pizzas, but restrict ourselves to only once every few months as a treat.

28 W Green, Heighington Village, Newton AycliffeWe popped here on the way home for some food, I ordered the steak pie with homemade chips and garden peas, it was super tasty! My husband ordered the chicken parmo with chips and salad which he also enjoyed. Salad was fresh but covered in a mustard dressing which he doesn’t like and it wasn’t stated on the menu. The staff were lovely and attentive, the place itself needs a good clean, which was a bit of a let down. It’s very outdated but I don’t mind that for an old country pub but the place was quiet and had plenty of staff that could be going around just giving it a simple clean.

Great North Road, Newton AycliffeWe both ate steaks , mine a sizzler & my partners, an 11oz rump. Steaks were great, unfortunately chips on a cool plate do not stay warm for long. Maybe 2 sizzling plates would be a better idea. Otherwise a bargain at £9 & £11 respectively.

The Hammer and Pincers
Preston Ln, Preston-le-Skerne, Newton AycliffeBrilliant place. Stayed 2 nights on the campsite at the back of the pub.
Food in the pub was excellent. Well cooked and with huge portions. Luckily, we had booked a table when we arrived at the campsite as most tables were taken during the evening.
All the staff were friendly and extremely helpful....including mending my glasses when I dropped them and they broke.
The second night we were at a party in the pavilion. This was beautifully decorated and despite the freezing temperatures outside was lovely and warm.
A marvellous venue for any celebration.

4 E Green, Heighington Village, Newton Aycliffe8 of us were staying at Redworth Hall and decided to eat out in the nearby village pub, only 5 min.drive away.\nThe staff were all so friendly and couldn't do enough for us. The food was fabulous and very reasonably priced. The Sizzler meals were delious, they came with wraps, etc. and proper chips!!! 2 of our party had the leg of lamb with black pudding mash and fresh veg and said it was gorgeous. I would definitely recommend a visit to this lovely friendy traditional country Pub.\n

13 The Green, Aycliffe Village, Newton AycliffeBeautiful food set in a lovely establishment, servers and staff were polite, kind and friendly and the venue even has a car park and disabled parking. There are steps to one entrance but I didn't enquire about wheelchair accessibility so make sure you do so before going. It has outdoor seating and it's surrounded by nature and trees in a lovely village setting.

Redworth Hall Hotel
Surtees Rd, Newton AycliffeIt's a place far removed in time, a structure that transports you to the past while incorporating modern comforts. The rooms are comfortable and the restaurant is good. The spa and two on-site pubs are definitely worth a visit. The staff is extremely kind and helpful. Congratulations!

42 South Side, Middridge, Newton AycliffeAmazing Christmas dinner. We collected Christmas Eve and the food was ready to be collected at the allocated time, along with cooking instructions. On the day we followed the guidance, which gave us the most wonderful Christmas meal. Portion size was perfect with everything you’d need for a home cooked meal, without the worry or stress. We’d definitely do this again next year and would recommend many to do the same. A huge thank you to Mandy, John and the team ?

The Turbinia we watched Fossil rockin The Turbinia last night and these are all the weird and wacky and random snaps and footage we got.
It was a woman's birthday so happy birthday to her and hope she had an amazing night!
Bumped into Samantha and it was a pleasure to chat with her and see how she was doing! Hopefully see her again at the Tub or elsewhere. Lovely lass and the energy and vibes at the Tub are always top notch.
Everyone is always wonderful and having a good time and you can dance however you want, I did rock out for five minutes but my ankle is angry about it today. I regret nothing! Ahaha!
It was nice to take a break from pain flares and listen to some rock music. ?
Thank you to Peter, my partner who took us there and back and we enjoyed a cheeky Chinese when home. I am calorie counting but it was after midnight so I can class it as some of today's calories bawahahaha.
I'm so glad I chose to go out in the end, and the few drinks helped with pain and it was such a fun yet relaxed environment. I've missed going to the Tub, when I first got out of my wheelchair I'd go here on my own to listen to the live music and I'm so glad I now have people to go with and enjoy with and share it with.
Class night. Enjoy the footage! Battery was low by the end so I managed to get two videos of the band but that was all.
Next time make sure the phone is fully charged ahaha.
