What a traditional, warm place. Landlord is young. Very competent for his age. We had brilliant philosophical debates and kept me there all night! The lad knows what he’s doing! Couldn’t recommend more. His dogs are charming too?

Hi we had 3 large Haddock with chips from Debbie's tonight, they were absolutely gorgeous,nice crispy batter and mmmmm lovely flakey haddock the best I have tasted up here, we will definitely be calling again soon

took my mum for her birthday day out. what an amazing place beautiful surrounding with lots to see. The Castle was breathtaking and the staff were informative and friendly. The Vinery was lovely food was delicious. will definately be visiting again.
