Second time we came here, and another lovely experience with gorgeous food and nice service. Chris is a wonderful and kind chef and person, highly recommend when visiting the quaint village of Snaith and its surroundings.

Taste of China (中国的味道)

Been abroad for quite some time and went for our favourite Chinese meal in our favourite takeaway. We were not disappointed. It was just what we expected. Can't fault The Taste of China in Aire Street. Excellent service and food. Thank you. X

Delicious Fish & Chips at King Fryer! Crispy fish, perfect chips, and tasty sauces. Great service and a lovely experience. Highly recommended!

Pizza Capri

Just had a mega burger from pizza Capri Goole and it was the best burger I've had in a very long time, spot on service and chips too, for just under eight quid I'd advise anyone to try one out

Bishop's

First visit to the Bishop bar, not disappointed, we ordered the medium Sunday lunch and the Yorkshire puddings were massive, we had to leave some as we were stuffed.\nThe staff were very attentive and accomdated us without a booking.\nWe will definitely go again, great food and atmosphere.

Costa Coffee

A nice place for a coffee while waiting for a train, as the station is just across road. Or if you just want a coffee and cake while in town. Helpful staff, good coffee. Will visit again.

Leaf Tandoori

My favourite Indian restaurant. The food is excellent, the atmosphere is very cordial. The owner is a gentleman and the staff very attentive. I tried it once and now go regularly with my family & friends. Outstanding!

Goole Spice Indian Takeaway

Ordered chicken korma and chicken pathia absolutely lovely really tasty peshwari naan was so soft and delicious definitely the best Indian we’ve had in a ling time A*****

The Plaza Pizzeria

Just ordered mixed kebab and chicken and donner kebab. Arrived promptly and was delicious. Very generous portions and even got a garlic bread thrown in. Great Takeaway .

Aire & Calder Brewers Fayre

We went for a meal with our oldest daughter and her family on Christmas Eve 2025 and the food was not as nice as usual, both my husband and myself had the turkey dinner for our main cause and the Brussels where like cannon balls they were so hard the carrots was almost edible and the garden peas was more warm rather than cooked. The pâté on toast was nice enough but there was enough pâté for at least 2 slices of toast but just one slice of toast. Not the best meal we have had from there.

Rawcliffe Pizzaria

I order here often and it never fails. I love the new Rawcliffe box they have added and it’s such good value. The staff are always so kind and helpful when I call up and collect. Highly recommend!

Greggs

Morrisons

Called in after a two half hour gym session.
Straight into the cafe and ordered a full English breakfast.
With an unlimited refills on all hot drinks and a free doughnut.
Perfect.
Hit the spot well prepared and very reasonable on price..
Top off with polite efficient services.
Especially by the young lad on the till.

The Percy Arms

We've been there a few times for an evening meal and it's a decent village pub. It's pretty, plenty of character, food served every day from a wide ranging menu and the service is very good. Never had a bad meal there. Also a good place for a drink at the bar and a great selection of beer and wine.
Some of the seating areas are a little dark, but thats part of the character of the place and there's plenty of places to sit and it's not overly busy or noisy.
Highly recommended.

Domino's Pizza - Goole

Husband and I would always prefer to use a small local business over a chain. But Domino's have got their game together. The food, the ordering process is fantastic, prices are good and the speed of delivery is amazing. The other pizza places in Goole really need to up their game and we hope they do.

Vikings

Tai is always a helpful and kind waitor and always makes sure to make conversation ? He was so attentive and consistently checked on our table throughout the meal. I truly appreciated his friendly demeanor and how he took the time to chat with us. It really made the dining experience feel personal and special. Excellent service like that is what makes me want to return!

McDoners Indian Cuisine

This place is always open, by far the best prices in Goole when it comes to take away food.

From time to time, things are missed or wrong with the order. However, I never had any issues when it came to resolving these issues.

Great food as well. These guys have taken care of my dinner far more than I care to admit as a chef, lol.

Pepi's Pizza

Leaving a bad review as a regular customer because it wasn’t up to standards once is so unfair. Sometimes mistakes and inconsistencies happen. Leaving a bad review on google can seriously affect a business.Pepis is unarguably the best takeaway pizza place in Goole because of its unique pizzas. We moved away and still travel 40 minutes just for a Pepis! I hype it up to everyone I know, if I was working on commission I’d be minted.

Snaith pizza

Just had a kofta kebab. Was surprised by the 10 quid asking price! Little on the steep side! 6 long strips of meat, well cooked and very tasty, nice fresh salad with a wedge of lemon? good sauces, the chilli tasted fresh and homemade? nice fresh pitta! Almost a healthy meal lol. Just a little expensive but that's how everything is nowadays.

La Bodrum

The reason why I wouldn't give it a 5 out of 5 is that it's cash only but the food is amazing and same with the service and atmosphere it's just ashame it's cash only

Kings Head - Pollington

We popped in on off chance of getting a booking for Sunday Lunch. They were very welcoming and found us a table for three.
The was exactly as previous reviews had stated, plenty to eat served with a unique style.
The waitresses were brilliant always attentive.
Overall if passing by again I would without hesitatation come and enjoy other delights on the weekly menu.

Samanthas Diner @ Docklands Truck park &Wash

Stayed on a number of occasions nice and quiet Not a bad place really there's a lot worse truck stops than this one, staff very friendly and never really had a problem with the food, so yea will still use this one......

Florena’s Italian

We came to this restaurant for the first time and left very satisfied. The blonde lady who greeted us was 5 stars, and the staff were as attentive as could be in a super busy restaurant. The food was 5 stars!! We will definitely be back!

Fabulous. We honestly didnt know what to expect, just wanted an italian and it was reallY very very good. The food was all home cooked and done to perfection. Staff were lovely and it was buzzy in there. Honestly, i thought they should put hteir prices up at least 25% and it still would have been very good value for money.

Went here with a group of about 26 people. We were served quickly and the staff very polite. We had a 3 course Xmas meal which was superb. Will be back Anne walker

Howden Fish Bar

My husband and I have stopped on the way home 3 times in the past months for Fish Chips and Mushy peas for him. The place is spotless, staff are very friendly, and my husband says the Fish and Chips and peas are really nice/perfect.

Supreme Coffee House

I’ve had breakfast here a few times and each time it was amazing, easily the best breakfast in goole and not too expensive either. I found the small breakfast was more than enough to fill me and I enjoyed the coffee a lot. Only fault was the decor was a little dated which wouldn’t be any issue but it made the furniture like tables and such look a little dirty.

Nicest Lamb shank ever and the Garlic chicken, was great, that’s the wife’s words not mine.
The bartender kept everything flowing.
We are visitors to whitely, when we return we will indulge fully.

Brewers Arms

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Everyone was super friendly and welcoming. We were staying locally at a nearby campsite and managed to grab a table for Sunday dinner. They happily accommodated for allergies (my daughter has a dairy and egg allergy) and preferences (my other daughter is veggie). Portions were great! Loved the veggies. Definitely order the cauliflower cheese if you go! Thanks all again for your patience and hospitality. Will definitely return when we are up next ☺️

The Ship Inn

Sat outside by the river to have my diet coke and bag of crisps. I was on a drive out to test my car and needed to top up with water and the bloke behind the bar couldn't of been more helpful. Lovely friendly pub with a pool table. I will return!

Suzie's Cakes & Bakes

A massive thank you to suzie for creating my gorgeous wedding cake and cupcakes. The flavours were amazing and you nailed my brief of wildflowers. My guests were afraid to eat as they said it looked like a work of art! Truly beautiful ❤️

Clifton Hotel

The chips and the crispy shredded chicken was delicious. I would recommend ordering from Clifton Hotel as the customer service is wonderful and the food is more than a 5 star rating!

The Old Market Cafe

Visited here for lunch rather than going to a chain - they have a major condensation issue so we couldn't see if there were any free tables without actually going in.Staff were friendly, prices were good & my cheese & mushroom omelette was really tasty, shame they had no non-dairy milk available though.

The Black Swan at Asselby

Great pub with good real ales always available. There is an aviary in the beer garden and a pool table in the back room these days.Sandwiches are usually available but the landlord doesn't mind you ordering a takeaway either.
