63 Main St, Brandesburton, DriffieldTurned up without booking but they managed to squeeze us in and wow the best steak and ale pie I've had melts in your mouth and a big serving. Would recommend booking a table but it's definitely worth it.

The Micro Pig Bar
Coopers Mdw, HullA lovely little 'mostly-locals' 'bar', with a few (changing and well-kept) real ales, (and many other drinks!), available.
My welcome by both the management, staff and the locals was always excellent each day I visited. They gave me lots of information of local places to visit, and made me feel so welcome, from the start to finish, every day I was there. I got the same vibe that I do in my home town, in Derbyshire; (Hence, I became a temporary regular).
A really friendly little pub! I hope to call in again, as soon as I can...

New Inn Leven
44 South St, Leven, BeverleyGreat pub. Stumbled upon this place after finishing a walk along the Leven canal, which was very enjoyable and great for the dog. Really friendly and inviting atmosphere. Good selection of real ales.
The landlord took the time to come over and have a chat despite having a busy bar to run. The locals were also very friendly and provided helpful advice, despite us taking their hosts time. They had some lively banter.?

Gardener's Retreat & Coffee Haven
Hornsea Rd, Sigglesthorne, HullLovely place, just had a coffee but been before to eat. Just been taken over but other people seemed to be enjoying their food. Varied menu including vegan. Very clean, reasonably busy, part of garden centre with many concessions for plants, clothes, furniture and many gifts. Reasonably priced both in restaurant and retailers
