Sproatley, HullFriendly attentive staff. I had the stack burger and the wife had chunky chips curry sauce and bread and butter. The home made coleslaw was to die for crisp and crunchy just how it should be. Onion rings cooked to perfection. Not taking anything away from the burger which was lovely. Will definitely be back. Chips and curry were also good.

Nags Head
1 Sproatley Rd, Preston, HullIt’s a long time since I last visited The Nags Head but I was pleasantly surprised
We vigorously Sunday Lunch at around 4.40pm
The pub was not over busy at this time and we found a table easily
We ate inside but there is a covered outdoor area as well It’s good for children as there is an outside garden with slides and swings.
The pub is very clean the staff friendly and the service is good
A traditional pub that made us feel welcome
I ordered the large pork dinner which I found was very large and in fact too much for me. I will get the medium sized on my next visit
The food was hot and tasty and the pork was lean and tender At £13.95 I thought it was very good value
There is a good selection of beers and I had John Smiths smooth was was great
On the walls were ads for upcoming events and the pub seems to be well run and pro-active
I would certainly recommend The Nags Head and will visit again
