Shipton Ln, Shiptonthorpe, YorkThe food here was excellent. The service? Indifferent I felt. Everything had to be asked for- even ordering our main courses! I don't expect all singing and dancing, but we were two ladies dining to celebrate our birthdays( I mentioned this to our waiter and got a half hearted' Happy Birthday ' which was about as warm as a cold wet flannel) we didn't feel very welcomed. The food was beautifully cooked, so that was a big positive. Could do better on the customer service front.

York Rd, Shiptonthorpe, YorkMe and my husband were travelling from Milton Keynes to Scarborough on this Christmas eve and the shop was open on that time and the staffs were excellent. They were happy to help and not frustrated even if it’s a Christmas eve. Kudos to the team x
