We called in yesterday for coffee and cake. We also bought some bread. You wait a long time for the order and it isn’t service with a smile here! Nevertheless the cakes (carrot and a vegan nut and fig slice) were delicious.
Situated in Lewes High Street the Flint Owl Bakery is a bakery and cafe which makes homemade organic bread. It also makes and sells cakes, bread, cheeses, salads and artisan breads as well as other foods. It is very clean, the food is well presented and the staff are friendly and helpful. Coffees and teas and other drinks are available as well as meal deals. You can eat inside or take away.

Lovely cakes and pastries. Can't fault any of the food or service!However, it can get very busy and noisy when eating in. The tables are all a bit close and I felt that people were on top of us. Also, the bathroom is very revealing as the window is very clear looking out on to the seating outside. So you may very well catch eye contact with someone having a coffee outside.Would recommend for takeaway.
