Don’t walk, RUN! for lunch at the rose and crown.

I went to the rose and crown on Easter Sunday and had one of the best roast dinners I’ve ever had. The carrots and parsnips were cooked to perfection with a sweet honey glaze. That and the combination of creamy cauliflower cheese, nice succulent meat (pork especially) and crispy roast potatoes made for an symphony of flavour.

The bar staff and service was amazing. We had Adele (I believe that was her name) as our server. She greeted us with a smile and was very attentive. Our service and the way we were treated made it that much easier for us to want to leave a nice tip : )

The pub has a wonderful ambiance, that reminds me of simple times. It’s structural integrity is one to be admired and the place has a wonderful homely feel.
