We booked the mulberry tree for Christmas Day after leaving it too late to book the more expensive pub across the road.I wasn’t expecting anything amazing today but the food was REALLY good, especially the roast potatoes and they managed to make turkey taste nice too!I’d give the food 9/10 but the service a 5/10.We waited at least 45 mins for our dessert and I stood at the bar for at least 15 mins before I was served - and no one was in the queue except me. Whilst friendly. We were placed next to play area which is ok for young families but not a group of adults. We asked to be placed somewhere quieter which waitress became quite defensive saying it's busy and did we request this in booking ( there was nothing on booking about this) by the way it was very quiet. On the upside I stayed calm and courtesous and was moved which was much appreciated and food was genuinely good.
