Church St, Gestingthorpe, HalsteadWe picked this place as a stopover and so glad we did very welcoming on arrival and nothing was too much trouble the room we stayed in was so quiet and large well worth the money and backed onto open fields.we found it was the owners 2nd day and what a great job they're doing even with the new technology ? and the food is a different level both evening and breakfast well done we will return ?

2 Queen St, Castle Hedingham, HalsteadLovely old pub but quiet. Steve (and the other Steve) was very friendly and chatty. Drinks were nicely priced and having a tortoise wandering around is absolutely amazing. Love it.
