Hired the upstairs ballroom for our engagement party and it was perfect! We were allowed to set up around 4 hours before the party started, and when we got there the ballroom and lobby were both already set up with chairs and tables in the way we requested.We got the whole upstairs to ourselves. The bar was stocked and staffed all night, didn’t catch the bar man’s name but he was great. The staff were very welcoming and there was a very welcoming atmosphere. In this pub , they also had a lot of male eye candy for us to have a look at what a wonderful day that was(Staff and customers)

Wow my favourite place in Chelmsford! Absolutely incredible service from James - he is the the best, most friendly bartender I have ever experienced. He is so knowledgeable and attentive he is a massive slay. Can’t wait to come back for bingo!
