One of the best cafes in Colchester for a quiet coffee, in nice surroundings and with good attentive staff that come with IQ's and smiles. The only drawback was this gentleman; standing outside on a narrow ledge. When I opened the window to invite him in, he proceeded to ignored me and carried on looking at us with his vague Mona Lisa smile.\\n\\nI do hope he is okay and that somebody tells him that there is no need to go to such extraordinary lengths to maintain social distance.
Yeah, it's a chain coffee shop, but this place feels a million miles away from the high street it overlooks. Comfortable and relaxed with a distinctive interior, this place is a cut above your average Nero's. I've just found my new favourite coffee bar.
