Still the best Indian around. If you’re looking for quality food that’s value for money this is the place to go. Friendly staff and the bottles of kingfisher/bangla/cobra are ice cold!! I had the mixed grill for a change was best I’ve ever had.
Been to the Saffron twice and on both occasions it was a pleasant experience, the food is good - although the portions are smaller than average, which may not be a bad thing as we did not waste any - the prices are definitely more reasonable than other local Indian restaurants I've been to, and the staff are very nice and welcoming. Can't fault the staff, as very friendly. However I'm a big lover of salt and found all the dishes overpowered by it. My husband who doesn't have much salt because of blood pressure had to leave all of his. I found the salt content so high that the next day I had a headache and was drinking copious amounts of water. As I said I love salt. The place is lovely and the staff friendly though.
