Absolutely gorgeous lunch here on our way back down the A40. We travel this road fairly regularly but never had the chance to stop but glad we could today. Friendly and welcoming team on arrival. Was lovely to see families and dogs welcome as we normally travel with our 9yo. Food was excellent, coleslaw sublime with a lovely dressed salad and chunky fish sourdough sandwich for me with homemade tartare sauce. We stopped off for a coffee on our way to a family party. We were very impressed so decided to stop for lunch on our way home the following day. Lovely setting and nice varied menu. We liked the fact that ingredients weee sourced locally where possible

Meeting friends halfway between Didcot & Worcester we discovered this little gem. I had a cajun burger which was like a joint in a bun. My one daughter destroyed her panini in minutes whereas my fussy one didn't like the chicken nuggets which were proper breast meat and lovely ( the daughter was the problem). My only eyebrow raise is I travelled to that lovely place to eat ice cream which is made 100 mtrs from my house ?. Lovely experience, nice staff.
