Great atmosphere, good food, friendly staff.Our favourite place in Cheltenham, the food is excellent and great value, really pleasant staff, service with a smile. Went again last Saturday we both had the Halibut which was delicious, nice wine and great range of background music...Cat Stevens, Bob Dylan Dire Straights, Chris Rea. The Retreat is a unique, very special place.

Dropped in for luch at The Retreat, our first visit in 32 years! Delicious lunch, great service, welcoming and a magical bar. Quieter at lunchtime than the evening. Amazingly like it was so long ago but bigger. Fantastic.
