Cosy Sunday lunch by a roaring log burner. Roast beef superb as was the Yorkshire pudding, all served with plenty of gravy and a good selection of vegetables. Good choice of puddings, wine very good, service friendly and efficient. Lovely pub atmosphere, charming old building.

Absolutely delicious Sunday lunch Roast, photos don’t do it justice. Half a roast chicken with the most tasty seasoned veg. Plenty of gravy as well as spare and sauces if you like. Was pleasantly surprised! Staff were nice too.(Veg is under chicken and extra green veg and gravy came on a plate to share)
