I had come here on a trip to visit a friend who lives nearby. The area is bang in the middle of Charlton Kings, so makes a good walk from anywhere. They have great bar service and options of drinks and snacks at good price. They have a separate area for restaurant and dining, which had absolutely amazing food. Met up with my daughter for lunch. Neither of us eat chips and we ordered the ham and eggs without the chips. Usually, that's what you get but they served us a nice salad instead of the chips. Ham was good quality and the service was very good too. Such a friendly pub.

Haven't been to the Royal for over a year now due to the decline of the food quantity. So my wife and I decided to give it another go today. We found out that it had been taking over by new owners. What can I say! Excellent food! Excellent service! Thank you. 100% recommend you go there.
