Michael's Mediterranean Restaurant
High St, Chipping CampdenWe'd been recommended Michael's by a friend, and popped in earlier in the day to see if they had a table at lunch. It's not just food that makes a great dining experience - it's the people front of house supporting the chefs. We had a very warm welcome and professional experience from the start - and it continued right through the service. This was a quite exceptional lunch and my partner was particularly impressed by her special dish of langoustines - a tremendously generous portion cooked to perfection with a garlic sauce we couldn't get enough of. My moules were similarly delicious. We ate at a lovely table outside in a small covered area - we could easily have been in the Med. So well done to Michael's, thank you to their lovely staff, and thank you to the chefs for such tasty, generous and soul-warming food.

Eight Bells Inn
Church St, Chipping CampdenThe Eight Bells is in a great location for the north end of the Cotswolds. The staff were friendly and polite, the evening meal and breakfast was excellent. The rooms are noisy in the evening as they face onto the courtyard but this is in the description so I accept that. ?

Decades Cafe
Broadway Rd, Mickleton, Chipping CampdenAmazing Tearoom! Visited this morning for my sister's birthday. Bob makes a perfect Latte. Lovely relaxing atmosphere, we will absolutely be back. Don't forget to pop next door and have a look at the fresh made produce. We got some of Bob's Best sausage rolls which look amazing.

Maharaja Indian Cuisine
15 Lower High St, Chipping CampdenDelicious! Just finished my first curry (takeaway) from here, and it blew me away. I wasn't expecting it to be so good! I ordered Lamb Pathia and a garlic nan. The lamb was so soft and succulent, and the sauce was perfect: medium spiced, sweet, and tangy sour. Soft nan bread as well.
The price was very reasonable too.
I'll definitely be going back.

The Bakers Arms
Angel Ln, Broad Campden, Chipping CampdenWe called in here today after a day out mooching about the Cotswolds, very last minute but thought we'd give it a whirl... what a fortuitous whirl that turned out to be! The food was lovely, really lovely and a fair old choice/variation too. The service is second to none, with a lovely atmosphere. I believe there's a restaurant part but we camped out in the bar and found that very comfortable with a warm welcome. There's a range of beers to choose from including Guinness Zero which was a win. They also have their own Bakers Lager which goes down very easy. Not sure how the place will be in the depths of winter but there's a large open fire just waiting to be lit so I suspect the welcome will be even warmer. If you're in the area or even somewhere near, you'll be mad to miss this place, I'm struggling to find fault! Oh by the way, the burger was the best I've ever had and I've had more than my fair share! The Bakers Arms really is lovely. Get yourself a table there and fill yourself with beer and lovely food served by lovely people. You'll enjoy every minute.

The Butchers Arms
Chapel Ln, Mickleton, Chipping CampdenHighly recommended for parties. We held a surprise 40th party at The Butchers Arms and it was fantastic! The room looked AMAZING, the handmade food was so delicious (sausage rolls, mini pies, scotch eggs, sliders and so much more). The staff were incredible—so helpful, friendly, and attentive for all our guests throughout the night! Massive shoutout to @mark rose DJ for keeping the tunes flowing and the dancefloor packed. Can’t recommend this place enough if you’re planning a party—thank you all for making it such a special night! #40thBirthday #SurpriseParty #ButchersArmsMickleton

The Ebrington Arms
May Ln, Ebrington, Chipping CampdenMy family and I visited The Ebrington Arms for my husband’s 60th birthday. I’ve dreamed of spending an evening here for a few years and we all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The service was excellent and all staff were friendly and helpful. The quality of each meal was really good; extremely tasty, even down to the smaller details like the homemade Tartare sauce. We had a range of meals: Gammon, delicately , lightly battered Haddock, Chicken Supreme, and of course, differing delicious, well presented desserts and a cheese platter. The village setting is beautiful, especially the local thatched cottages and well kept Green. We took our dog, who was welcomed. He nestled happily under our table, at our feet. All in all a really lovely evening. Thank you!

Bistro on the Square, Campden
The Square Upper, High St, Chipping CampdenGreat meal, feel portions should be larger for the cost but after 3 courses I was full. Ordered a cocktail which didn’t turn up and our sparking wine arrived with our mains which was also different to the one we ordered, good experience but room for improvement

Randall's Bar Brasserie at Three Ways House
Three Ways House, Chapel Ln, Mickleton, Chipping CampdenA group of around 20 bellringers spent 3 nights here. We had a very reasonable package including breakfast and three course evening meal. Having read some TA reports, I was a little apprehensive of what had been booked for us. I shouldn’t have, because everything was excellent. My brother and I shared a large twin room in one of the extensions which had plenty of space ( Room 39) and a large sofa, with no outside noise interference. The breakfast was to a high standard, and vegetarian sausages were available on request. Decor was fine throughout, evening meal choices were very good. We were impressed by the skills of the chefs, who obviously hadn’t been taught using the ping-ping microwave way. Many items were obviously home made, and they excelled on the sweets. Would definitely stay here again, and even the American visitors didn’t talk too loud, and they get a lot. Definitely worth a visit if staying in the Cotswold area.
