The Old Spot
2 Hill Rd, DursleyMy mother always said 'if you dont like a restaurant just dont go back, no point in complaining' that might not actually be what she said. But I live by thay moto anyway. So I only review things I like, which is why im reviewing the old spot. Do you remember whay a proper pub is like. If you dont get down to the Old Spot. Thats how a pub should be done it's just so friendly and full of character. The food was yum. Really enjoyed it. The beer selection is magnificent. What's not to like.

The Pepper Pot Pub
Lower Wick, Upper Wick, DursleyFound this little Inn by chance. Well presented and clean. We only had drinks and a quick snack however it was well presented and good value. We noticed that they had a special offer on a buy one get one free on all main courses which we felt was excellent value. Large beer garden which had small area of play equipment in. Friendly staff. Campsite at the back of the pub - we didn’t visit so are unable to comment on the camping area.
The noise from the adjacent M5 and railway track was quite noticeable and I can imagine may upset some people.

18 B Parsonage St, DursleyNot been here for years, so decided to give it a go. Glad we did. \nService was really good. The food is very good value and was delicious. We had risotto and lasagne. The rice was beautifully cooked - al dente and soft and creamy at the same time. The lasagne was very rich and cheesy. They do a lunchtime special of three courses for £16.95. Give it a try.

5 Noel Lee Way, Cam, DursleyWe have walked there a few times with the dogs and the grandchildren. Very friendly, food is fresh and tasty.great selection of food and drink. I like the brie and chutney jacket potatoes. Always get asked if the dogs want a treat and need water. You can sit in or out, and there are toilets.

Bristol Rd, Cambridge, DursleyWe came here on a week day. Always welcoming and lovely friendly staff. And usually the food is very good. But was disappointing this time. Had garlic mushrooms for starters but wasn't very nice. Not very appetising. Also the onion rings weren't very nice. Have they got a different chef?
I know their Sunday Carveries are outstanding!!

The Dilraj
37 Long St, DursleyI first went here when I was 7 years old with my family. I remember having a tandoori mixed grill and walking back to the car because I ate way too much. I moved away from the area, yet no other Indian restaurant/takeaway could even come close. I’ve been back in the area for around a decade now and STILL love their food and their welcome atmosphere. So many curries end up having that layer of oil over the top, or the rice has been drenched in oil to keep it moist. Not here. Their pilot rice is fluffy and fragrant, while their dishes all taste fresh. A definite for those wanting Indian food done right.

28 Uley Rd, Dursleyhad a 60th birthday meal for 15 of us today.... it was absolutely amazing, really delicious, well presented, top quality food and all came in record time.. we had all sorts from hunters chicken with all the trimmings to steak burger with pulled pork, the salmon was to die for and the moving mountain burger was 1st class.... also various basket meals, everything perfect... the cider pub of the year did us proud... also top quality, friendly staff... would definitely recommend this establishment...

Delivery driver was super friendly and very nice. Absolutely recommend to try here. If we lived here we would order from regularly. Keep up the good work!!

Dursley Rd, DursleyThis was our first visit to Leaf & Ground. We loved the setting, the atmosphere & the delicious, high quality food. The staff were friendly & hard working but there were some basic organizational flaws which really impacted on the service. There was a general sense of staff multi-tasking & lacking a specific focus & role which affected efficiency. Staff were having to borrow each other’s iPads to take orders as there weren’t enough to go around. There were also a couple of examples of communication simply breaking down between staff. For example after lunch we ordered some cake to take away. Payment was taken straight away but then 15 minutes later we were still waiting for someone to simply place the cakes in a box! A bit of a wake-up call to management to sort out some simple improvements and to make the service match the 5 star food and atmosphere ratings!
