2 Hill Rd, DursleyMy mother always said 'if you dont like a restaurant just dont go back, no point in complaining' that might not actually be what she said. But I live by thay moto anyway. So I only review things I like, which is why im reviewing the old spot. Do you remember whay a proper pub is like. If you dont get down to the Old Spot. Thats how a pub should be done it's just so friendly and full of character. The food was yum. Really enjoyed it. The beer selection is magnificent. What's not to like.

18 B Parsonage St, DursleyNot been here for years, so decided to give it a go. Glad we did. \nService was really good. The food is very good value and was delicious. We had risotto and lasagne. The rice was beautifully cooked - al dente and soft and creamy at the same time. The lasagne was very rich and cheesy. They do a lunchtime special of three courses for £16.95. Give it a try.

The atmosphere was buzzing and it’s a place that suits all ages as well as dogs. With background music ? it made for a good feeling vibe. We had the toasties and can recommend. Thank you ?

I like the brie and chutney jacket potatoes. Always get asked if the dogs want a treat and need water. You can sit in or out, and there are toilets.

37 Long St, DursleyI first went here when I was 7 years old with my family. I remember having a tandoori mixed grill and walking back to the car because I ate way too much. I moved away from the area, yet no other Indian restaurant/takeaway could even come close. I’ve been back in the area for around a decade now and STILL love their food and their welcome atmosphere. So many curries end up having that layer of oil over the top, or the rice has been drenched in oil to keep it moist. Not here. Their pilot rice is fluffy and fragrant, while their dishes all taste fresh. A definite for those wanting Indian food done right.

28 Uley Rd, Dursleyhad a 60th birthday meal for 15 of us today.... it was absolutely amazing, really delicious, well presented, top quality food and all came in record time.. we had all sorts from hunters chicken with all the trimmings to steak burger with pulled pork, the salmon was to die for and the moving mountain burger was 1st class.... also various basket meals, everything perfect... the cider pub of the year did us proud... also top quality, friendly staff... would definitely recommend this establishment...

23-25 Long St, DursleyAbsolutely stunning setting beautiful lights and amazingly laid out tables the food absolutely delectable my favourite place to eat went unexpectedly with friend one server really stood out and had amazing service it's brilliant to see younger people working in our communities I really did just have the perfect time their chicken korma was my favourite will definitely be going back again I honestly couldn't go anywhere better it's not most people first place to go but it really should be will never say anything bad about them their chips were just top impeccable I have never eaten anything like them before food was cooked to perfection nothing was raw or overcooked their chef must be brilliant and really kind staff overall also it is very clean and you see them clean up everything multiple time to be at the top of standards

Dursley Rd, DursleyThis was our first visit to Leaf & Ground. We loved the setting, the atmosphere & the delicious, high quality food. The staff were friendly & hard working but there were some basic organizational flaws which really impacted on the service. There was a general sense of staff multi-tasking & lacking a specific focus & role which affected efficiency. Staff were having to borrow each other’s iPads to take orders as there weren’t enough to go around. There were also a couple of examples of communication simply breaking down between staff. For example after lunch we ordered some cake to take away. Payment was taken straight away but then 15 minutes later we were still waiting for someone to simply place the cakes in a box! A bit of a wake-up call to management to sort out some simple improvements and to make the service match the 5 star food and atmosphere ratings!
