Called in at lunchtime today, about 12.30, it was really busy and the staff were working hard, we asked if we could have a table for three people and were told yes, but due to it being so busy, we may have to wait for about 45 minutes for our food. I said that was ok and we were shown to a table and our drinks order was taken. I know it's not long ago that I left a review for this restaurant but I think credit where credit is due and this was a pre-booked meal for my family including elderly relatives. We were seated on an appropriate table and despite the fact that we hadn't booked in for the festive menu the manager was able to find crackers for all of us. Visited the Wheatstone for my Mother's 90th birthday 30th Dec for an evening meal. The venue was ideal for 20 people( Toilets accessible on ground floor). We sat on a long table at the back of the restaurant. The food was good (Took our own cake) all the staff looked after us very well. Special thanks to Summer who covered our party ensuring all our needs where met.
