Slug & Lettuce - County Hall
1 Chicheley St, LondonThe atmosphere in the restaurant was delightful, and our waiter, Ethan, was incredibly friendly. I ordered mac and cheese with tofu, which was very good. My nan had scampi with chips and undercooked peas. My mum chose smothered chicken with cold chips, while my sister ordered a burger. For dessert, we decided to try the new fried custard, which was quite… unusual. I wouldn't recommend the custard dessert. Although, it was edible. Overall, great service.

Pizza Express
Benbow House, 24 New Globe Walk, LondonGood service and a fab location; myself and my friends had a lovely evening, which is why I rated this 4/5. However the pizzas were cold around the crust and warmish elsewhere. We were hungry so we ate our pizzas and got on with our evening. Were these pizza's premade and reheated when orders were placed?

Bill's Clink Street Restaurant
Victor Wharf, Clink St, LondonWent to Bill's for brunch with a few friends and had a pleasant experience. I was able to set up a reservation the night before and they were easily able to accommodate us. The location is nice, right next to Borough Market which I love so it's easy to find. The food was pretty standard. For me the bacon was too greasy so I didn't eat all of it but that comes with the territory sometimes. My friends all enjoyed their meal so I can see myself coming back here if I'm in the area again.

The Table Café
83 Southwark St, LondonWhat a great place for a good quality, casual meal. We went for lunch and ate from the Off Peak Brunch Experience (which I think has to be booked in advance) offering a mimosa and 2 "small plates" each for £18 per person. I had the Full English along with scrambles eggs and smoke salmon. My nephew had the Vegetarian slider and the chicken waffle. Everything seemed excellent quality, beautifully cooked and well presented. Portions were generous. We also had a bottle of Malbec between us and a dessert each. Can't think of anywhere else that offers such value and quality in central London.

Pizza Express
Cardamom Bldg, The, 31 Shad Thames, LondonPizza was quite good. I had the mushroom on my friend had the barbecue chicken. Maybe it's a London thing, but I found it odd that they brought me the pizza cutter to do my own pizza cutting. Not that easy on a slippery plate. \n\nCalamari was about two star experience. Obviously not fresh, frozen, likely bought from Costco or something. \n\nService was fast and very friendly. Great dining room and a nice location.

Starbucks Coffee
Belvedere Rd, LondonInconspicuous Starbucks located across from County Hall, a few steps from the London Eye and close(ish) to Waterloo Station. The location is in a peaceful corner of what is a hectic area of London, and will suit tourists looking to hit the Eye, South Bank, or Westminster across the bridge.
Standard Starbucks offerings inside. My pumpkin spiced latte was made well, but it’s my first time ordering a pumpkin spiced anything and it will certainly be my last… hey, you have to try things at least once, right? Service was swift; there were quite a few people in front of us, but we were escorted around a couple of people semi-queuing/looking at what to eat, and at least two people were serving and two others making drinks.
This Starbucks used to have more seating inside but in fairness, it created a dingy and cramped atmosphere. It benefitted from a refit a few months back and now has a more open and friendly feeling about it, with a large counter and plenty of space to move. There is still some seating outside, some of which is undercover.
Parking: Some paid parking, but it costs a fortune and you're much better off leaving the car at home.

The Miller
96 Snowsfields, LondonLots of interesting ciders and beers on tap as well as cans and bottles. Not tried the burgers but they looked great! Always fairly busy when we've popped in but always managed to find a table inside if the beer garden is full

Strada Southbank
A, Royal Festival Hall, 337-338 Belvedere Rd, LondonCustomer service was outstanding, especially from Leonardo. Very highly attentive at all times, gave us the exact kind of table we were after (which with 3 kids is not easy) and was very accomodating to all the changes in menu the kids were after! \nWe especially liked the App which allowed us to split the bill at the end without the waiting staff having to try and work it out in their heads. \nFood was excellent, recommend the spinach and pesto ravioli and squid.
