Had a lovely lunch here today.\nNo bomboloni but after expressing disappointment, the manager came to the table and explained there had been a problem with the dough that morning, he went off to give them another try and brought some free of charge to the table along with a generous serving of tiramisu on the house! \nGreat food and fabulous service from all the staff.

Great food and they take allergies seriously. I have coeliacs disease and struggle to find places that are safe and responsible with their food safety for me to eat.
When I ordered here they prepared my meal seperate, handled the food with gloves and even had a little “allergen” label on my food.
The only downside is you pay the same amount of money for the same meal but with slightly less food. Eg the hunters chicken and chips replaces The chips with a small potato for £11

Have visited this little Italian oasis before, and it never fails to deliver. From the staff who are brilliant, to the ambiance and food, outstanding, highly recommend Cocos, but you need to book, otherwise you may be disappointed. Will definitely go again

Fabulous beers and lagers and ciders all from Samuel smith brewery from Tadcaster
Honestly excellent worth a drive there for the beer ?
Then the food again cooked excellent
We had liver and mash
I will be checking the brewery wedsite out to see if I can order some bottles of them ?
We will definitely definitely come back to your Vine Inn

Booked for Christmas lunch; a group of fifteen. Good communication from the staff, especially as we had a few orders to change last minute.

Fitted us all into one room no problem, crackers, party hats, whole nine yards.

The food was ‘proper’ Christmas grub, like you’d get at home. Everything you would conceivably have on a Christmas dinner was on there, even a bit of roasted sweet potato, which was a nice extra. All cooked well and all received well by everyone in the party, it was delicious.

Also found out on finishing up that the chef had had his knee replaced a week before, so can’t have been easy to do all that and do it so well.

Would definitely recommend for some good honest home cooked food, likely to book again for this year.

The food at Rasassi is amazing. All of their curries are fresh and the meat is succulent, also going very well with not only the thick, garlicky naan bread, but also rice. Their poppadom is crispy and offer plenty of it. Overall, m my meal here was as good as any five star restaurant

A hidden gem of a place with an incredible unparalleled range of canned and bottled beer to take away or drink in house (for an extra £1.50), alongside an impressive array of beers on tap. Good atmosphere of a warm evening sat outside in the courtyard or in the stylish and relaxed interior. Engaging welcoming staff too. Worth seeking out in the far corner of the courtyard.

Absolutely cracking place. The Guinness is to die for. Great food too. The Kennedy's burger is delicious and the chicken burger just as good. Skin on fries with the cheese and chilli topping made our meal complete. The icing on the cake however was Callum behind the bar. Worked his socks off at lunch time and maintained that smile and positive, friendly, polite welcoming manner. Callum my friend you are a credit to Kennedy's thank you for your wonderful service. This is the closest to cantonese food you’ll find in the area. This no frills place hits the spot. Limited seating, cash only, toilet is through the kitchen no joke. The roasted duck is yum! Everything was good, just wish there was more wok hei for the dry beef rice noodle dish then it would be perfect! The salt and pepper squid i could leave. That being said this is now my go to. Try it out!

Have been going to this pub for about a month now on and off and it’s quite the find. Huge building, very friendly staff, lots of choice of food and drink and always something going on everyday whether it’s free wine Wednesday or Family dinner Sunday. Plenty of sport on the big screens, huge outdoor area which is lovely in the sun and also THEE best Darts set up I’ve ever seen in a pub. Very well taken care of and I’ll be going back many times over.

A lovely cafe with amazing food, and gorgeous decor for autumn! Absolutely love the vibes in here, and the music selection is ?? if you’re looking for a cute cozy cafe that is not too loud so you can get some work done, have a chat with friends or just spend some quality time with family, I would HIGHLY recommend this place. The menu looks very delicious and after this lovely full English, I can’t wait to try some of their sandwiches! All items are reasonably priced, and they have a selection of cakes and pastries as well. My hunt for a quiet cafe is officially over and I’ll definitely be back!!

It was a good experience overall, and there wasn’t trouble getting a table as we got there at the start of the evening, however it does seem to pick up quite a bit as you go into the evening, though it wasn’t so crowded that by the time we left (around 8pm) it would feel overwhelming.

The food was excellent and the flavours were clean and fresh, the only issue I might have is the wait time can be a little long between dishes(25 minutes plus), but the staff were attentive and very helpful throughout the evening when needed.

I think it’s worth a try if you’re craving some Thai food, as they are quite accommodating to most general dietary restrictions.

Last suggestion and this applies to those who enjoy taking many photos/videos, would be the lighting can be a bit poor, leading to some poor photos as can be seen of the menu, but you wouldn’t know it if you weren’t taking photographs.
