Five Guys Ashton Under Lyne

Five Guys Ashton Under Lyne is located at Ashton Moss Leisure Park on Fold Way, which is pretty much one stop on the tram from the town centre, the retail park location makes it easy to access whether you are attending on foot, public transit or using your vehicle. I visited this particular Five Guys and was impressed with the quality and speed of service, a manager took my order due to having an allergy and briefly explained the procedures in regards to cross-contamination. The interior is like any other Five Guys; I do feel they could have placed more tables here, though, as there was a lot of unused space, and it was busy on my visit, so the extra tables would have been useful. I ordered a lettuce-wrapped cheeseburger with a small fries, the food was on the pricey side but cost no more than any other Five Guys. The portion size, however, was good. My burger was juicy and cooked well, and while I would prefer a gluten-free bun, the lettuce wrap was a nice idea and is certainly better than what many other places, including McDonald's, offer. The opening hours are pretty good and are in line with other restaurants within the retail park and nearby- they are open until 10 pm during the week however, on weekend nights, they are open until 11 pm. The delivery radius via Uber Eats is good and even expands into Oldham. I have not tried their delivery services yet, but it is nice to see that they cover a wide range, although I'm not sure how they'd keep the food hot after travelling 5+ miles! I would return to this Five Guys again if I was in the area for sure. 4*

We had Sunday lunch 7th September. The food was delicious. Good atmosphere. The staff, as always were lovely. We were served by Connie. She was very attentive and a really nice girl. Thank you.
The only let down sometimes is the wine.

Purple Olive Ashton

Went for the first time with a group of 10. Service was excellent. The staff were so accommodating and friendly. We weren't rushed in the slightest and the quality of the food was excellent. The chicken pakora starter was probably the best I've ever had. We sat in their bar area afterwards and had some more drinks. The coffee with cream and sugar was lovely. Would definitely come back here.

They pride themselves on the food & it really shows. They know what they’re doing & how to cook food to perfection.
For a curry I wouldn’t go anywhere else, plus the prices are fair.
Really really good restaurant, even as a takeaway the food is always 10/10.
The owners are lovely & you can tell they care about customers & the dishes they serve, honestly couldn’t rate this place highly enough.

We booked as a party of 15 for Alfies 11th birthday. Nice area to sit in for pre drinks. The staff even brought my prosecco over for me as I bought it at the bar, then it was poured for me. Now that's service!
I can't fault the service, it was 10/10! Me & my husband shared a biriyani & chips as the portions are big enough to share. The atmosphere was good, not too noisy, so we could hear ourselves speak. Service was 10/10, very attentive & staff look after their customers! If you're thinking of coming here, then do it. You won't be dissapointed!

I have been frequenting this establishment since it first opened. My favourite dish is the masala dosa. I can also highly recommend the pani puri and bhel puri, various dahls and curries they have on offer, not forgetting to mention the delicious bateta wada and gujarati samosa.Vegans are well catered for just ask the staff.

Crunchy Chicken

Honestly, I am half cut … yet, that was up there. Chicken was crispy, chips were fresh to death. Cracking burger after being 10 pints deep. And don’t even get me started on his good that hash brown was on the burger.

Heard lots of good things about chutney Masala and went for the first time yesterday It did not disappoint the food was delicious and a lovely menu with lots of choice to choose from Lovely staff polite and welcoming Excellent parking facilities really enjoyed it and would highly recommend Will be back soon

Woondaal Indian Takeaway

Had chicken tikka biryani with a madras sauce, was the best curry iv ever had, it was that nice I had it again the next day. Sheek kebab good too. Takes a while to make so I suggest you order atleast 30min before if your picking up. Been looking for a good Indian takeaway and finally found it. Top notch ?

Pizza Hut Delivery

After an error on a previous order, we were told that we would receive a free pizza next time. Well we were pleasantly surprised when our order arrived.. 2 free pizzas and extra sides! Food was nice but the service was very slow and all the staff all seemed to be very rushed, because of this it ruined the experience abit.
Would come again but on a quiet day when it's probably not as busy.
The manager dawn, was very good and we appreciated everything she did for us.

Pizza Pan Express

I think the food is rather lovely, I order from here all the time. I just had to respond to the anonymous review below as he was on the Ashton Facebook group making the same complaint, but then he soon deleted his post when I saw his previous reviews about other takeaways and sent him the screenshots! Poor sod has no luck with his chicken anywhere he goes so he has to write negatively about small businesses. Anyway, I get a chicken burger from here all the time and it’s lovely and my kids usually get a pizza and the other loves the nuggets. No complaints on my behalf, apologies I didn’t write a review sooner.

Fantastic.. ordered the set meal for two and I will definitely be ordering again. Was delivered within the specified time. Very friendly staff both over the phone and the delivery driver. Food was delivered hot and can not fault it at all. Big chunks of lamb and chicken, very fresh and succulent with lots of flavour. 10/10 Mossley Tandoori keep up the good work your the best local takeaway by far and thank you.

Recently had my wedding here, from start to finish bethanie was amazing ? my only wish was that she was also there on our big day, rooms , food and staff just perfect , Nathan dealt with our finishing touches and he just didn't stop thr whole time. Visited recently with my daughter who has additional needs and a few of her friends who also have additional needs. We asked to be seated slightly out of the way as to not overwhelm our group, which the staff were very happy to accommodate this. The service was prompt. Staff were lovely and the food was great. Very pleased with the whole experience. Will be visiting again!

Always delicious food. Cooked by genuine Thai chef. Very friendly service, lovely people. Restaurant itself is dated and could do with a makeover but that's the only gripe and the food more than makes up for that

Restaurant at tameside one

We visited today for lunch as our son is on the catering course and works in the restaurant. The food and service was amazing , couldn't fault anything. The young people were lovely and attentive, making sure we had everything and checking we were enjoying our food . I would 100% recommend going and will be going again In the future. Beautiful food at very affordable prices . Tameside college should be very proud of their catering students .

This place needs more attention the food is the best I've ever tasted, the owner and family are doing there best to achieve a goal on being the best and they are exceeding this, but more people need to try this both the restaurant and the cafe are absolutely define the food is first class over everything that tameside can over. Pegs Langtern

Hired the back room and garden for a treble family party. Room for everyone to sit down, floor for disco and lovely garden which we had a bouncy castle in. The pegs provided some hot food and allowed us to supply our own buffet. Plus, they cooked my hot food. How many pubs would do that?! Staff were friendly and couldn't be more helpful. Would definitely recommend.

The Old Fire Station

Karaoke Room 10/10 Loved using the karaoke room on Sunday afternoon with the girls after we went for brunch. There were 12 of us. We didn’t book but was available so was pleased to be able to use it. Throughly enjoyed the afternoon. Would definitely go again. Would recommend to book if was a Friday/Saturday night or any other time if you didn’t want to be disappointed. Staff were lovely. Drink selection was extensive and good value for money. No complaints.

Tsangs Supper Bar

Without doubt one of the best chip shops around beautifully cooked chips lovely sausage and wow what a really tasty curry sauce highly recommend this one it's definitely on my map!!

Card payments accepted. Walked in very friendly staff. The gravy is so nice! Thick but not too thick and loads of flavour.
I thought my chips could have been so softer they seemed a little undercooked but they were fine.
