I don't go to pubs very often as I do not drink alcohol these days, but it was my partners 50th birthday party, so a good excuse. This is the 1st time we've been to a pub since Covid hit our shores. It is under new management and the landlord was all too happy to let us have a small party in the attached hall at a very reasonable price. We brought our own food but had easy access to the main bar so that people could get drinks of their choice alcohol, soft drinks or hot beverages....read full review

First trip to Andover to catch up with old friend. Down to earth pub. Friendly pragmatic landlord. Some good banter with the locals. Good beers on tap. Yeah. Like it. Old skool - reminded me of home ?

Just popped into the swallow, what a pleasant surprise. Warm, friendly staff, good prices, great atmosphere. The new owners certainly make you feel welcome. I know where I'll be going for a drink in the future.
