Whether you want regular pub grub that is far better than pub grub or you opt for the amazing alternative which contains curries of all styles, flavours and their choices of starters is … wow. Wash all this down with their great choice of wines of beers, you are in for a treat. If you’ve never been before, you must try it, you won’t be disappointed. We certainly aren’t. Le Chateau Cadnam
Le chateau, Newbridge Rd, Cadnam, SouthamptonWe popped in for a meal and were pleasantly surprised.
The food was well-cooked and tasty, and the service was friendly and welcoming; a really nice atmosphere overall. It’s the kind of place that’s easy to miss as you pass by, as it’s not immediately obvious it’s a restaurant from the outside.
While we did feel the prices were a little on the high side for what you get, we still had a lovely time and enjoyed the experience.

The White Hart
Old Romsey Rd, Cadnam, SouthamptonHave been here a number of times now when visiting the New Forest. Has a fun outside area for the kids to play with a couple of swings and a new über-climbing frame! The staff are very friendly and there's a really good selection of drinks.
The first couple of times the food was excellent but the last 2 times it's not been as good. Still decent but disappointing compared to previous times. Hopefully it'll start heading back to how it was otherwise we might have to find somewhere else for lunch ??

Food was great and excellent drinks, thank you for making us welcome during our short stay in this beautiful village.

The Empress of Blandings Pub & Restaurant, Cadnam
Romsey Rd, Copythorne, SouthamptonHad a lovely time at the Empress, the big momma burger and pulled pork brioche was delicious. First time I tried a coffee stout and it was delicious too. The service was a little slow but the staff were very polite and helpful.
