South did in an idyllic location. The thickness of the reservations book is a testament to this place's popularity.The beer-battered haddock, with triple cooked chips and minted peas was perfectly cooked. Steak and ale pie was filled to the brim with a rich filling and boasted a fantastic pastry with delicious horseradish mash. We had a fantastic evening meal here last night. The staff are very friendly, and we were really impressed with the food - especially the sourdough bread and the sticky toffee pudding. Good choice of main meals. My partner is vegetarian and said that his main was superb. Excellent wine as well.

We visited the restaurant only. We've been several times now. Nice food, good service, traditional pub ambiance.Food & drinks: Delicious home made food, really enjoyable. Excellent, friendly service, too. A lovely cosy country Inn.
