Came to the new clock inn hoping that they’d still be serving a roast dinner at 4pm on a Sunday and luckily for us they were. We decided to go for the special offer of a Sunday roast with dessert for £12 and we chose the duo of meats beef and turkey . When It arrived it was piping hot well presented and was delicious with tasty meat, roast potatoes and the veg was really fresh, not frozen like we expected, lots of tasty gravy and a big Yorkshire pudding. We chose dessert of apple crumble and sticky toffee pudding both with custard and again served piping hot and they were so delicious, the young lady serving was friendly and chatty even though being a Sunday they were very busy but nothing was too much trouble and we left feeling satisfied and happy and will be recommending the new clock to go on a Sunday and not just during the week. We will def be back thank you to the whole team Louise M

Great food with amazing service. Every single staff member had a smile on their face. They were all very kind and helpful even recommending some items to try on the menu. All the food was perfect. The batter was lovely and crispy. The chips were hot and fresh. The curry sauce was lovely. And the fish cakes and pies were absolutely delicious. Highly recommend. Prices were cheap and the food was more than worth the value. Again the staff were super.

We booked Delhi 39 after seeing the great reviews while staying at the Holiday Inn Eastleigh before our cruise, and we were not disappointed! Took an Uber over and it was absolutely worth it. The food was amazing – every dish was full of flavour and we couldn’t fault a single thing. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, which made the whole experience even better. Just a tip: they don’t serve alcohol on the premises, so make sure to bring your own if you’d like a drink with your meal. We’ll definitely be going back again!

Mikes Traditional Fish & Chips

The fish was freshly cooked. They tell you where the fish comes from, and what kind of potatoes have made your chips.

The food itself was really good. The chips could have been a little bit more crisp, but maybe that's down to the variety! The service was absolutely excellent and prompt with a good estimation of how long it would take to cook it fresh.

I would absolutely have another meal from this place. The batter is crispy. The food is fresh. What more could you want and it's all served with a smile. Do expect to pay for sauces which is completely fair. So order that with your meal if you need or want some

Just moved to Eastleigh and was looking for Sunday roast nearby online and The Good Companions came up. We are so glad we went, the roast was absolutely delicious and piping hot. We both had roast pork which was tender whilst also having a lovely bit of crispy crackling. Vegetables were plentiful and all cooked perfectly. It was clear everything was freshly cooked and not just from the freezer or microwaved. Massive Yorkie and plenty of gravy. Staff were polite and even though it was fairly noisy due to the local derby match being shown, there was a friendly atmosphere. We will definitely be back and feel lucky we now only 5 mins walk away!

Fantanstic service throughout. I booked the Function Room for 17 persons and Rebecca & Mollie were superb in co-ordinating and serving the meals on time. The food was excellent and very good value for money. I have been to the King Rufus many times and will continue to do so. There is a warm, friendly atmosphere and I recommend this venue to anyone. Once again, many thanks to Rebecca & Mollie for making our evening so special.

I frequent the Great Moghul a couple of times a month for a takeaway, and very occasionally pop in for a sit down meal. Each and every time I have been here over multiple years the standard has never dropped and the meals are always fantastic. Eastleigh is blessed with multiple good Indian restaurants, however the Moghul has always been my personal favourite. Sabu and his staff are always very welcoming, and service is always excellent.

I received a flyer from Must Have in my letterbox and had been eyeing it for weeks, debating whether to give it a try, and I’m so glad I finally did!

I placed my order on Easter Monday, and to my surprise, the delivery driver handed me an Easter egg as a gift from the boss. Such a thoughtful gesture, it really made my day. ?

Let me just say, this boss truly is the Boss of Kebabs! The Kofta Kebab wrap was massive and absolutely packed with flavor, every bite better than the last. The chips were a medium portion, but you'd never guess, they were super generous, perfectly crispy, and totally hit the spot.

I'll definitely be ordering from here again!

This is a Greene King pub and had a good range of both food and drink.Both my wife and I had the Fish & chips with large cut chips, peas, tartare sauce. I went for the round of white cob bread & butter @ £1.79 as well.The meal was hot and came out quite quickly after ordering.The staff where polite & very helpful and the pub clean & tidy.I will definitely try this pub again the next time I am in this area.

I booked a table for 8 ladies for afternoon tea. We were shown to our table and when we were all sat we were given big pots of tea and coffee, lots of milk and sugar.
When the afternoon tea came out it was all on fine China, and on tea stands. Finger sandwiches, scones with loads of jam and cream and a selection of lovely cakes. We were not rushed, the lady serving us was brilliant, the food was amazing and at £20 a head - amazing value. 10/10

Taste wise it is trumped by the Peking Phoenix restaurant in Eastleigh, but the portions they deliver are ridiculously small in comparison so we’ve ditched them. Good Earth for us!

as a currently 3rd year college student, this has been one of my go-to places to have lunch at. i didnt know what exactly i got myself into at the time i first ate there a few months ago, may or june to be exact, but i didnt regret going there, the staff there were very polite, and the shop itself had a range of toppings you could choose from. since my first time there, i been eating there quite alot. the pizza there is delicious!! id definetly reccommend going there if youre looking to get a delicious slice of pizza, looking for somewhere calming. 5 star from me, keep up the good work : )

This was my local pub for 5 and a half years, after work outings for birthdays, a quick drink at the weekends or a meal after work with the hubby. This place has a lovely interior and exterior decor, has plenty of seating, outdoor seating in the front and at the back and a great menu. There is a good choice of drinks including some ales. Often there are food deals for two meals for 9.95. This runs every weekday evening. My personal favourite is the Yorkshire wrap (roast beef wrapped in Yorkshire pudding) served with chips and gravy.

I was unsure of the box meal my son has so I went to the counter where a friendly member of staff came to take my order he was very patient friendly and had amazing customer service skills with a gorgeous smile jaydon knew what it was I wanted and also done some of my order to my son's personal preference .ie different sauce and no salad in his chicken fillet burger ? nothing was to much trouble whilst wanting for my order some delivery drivers came in and got a nice welcome and quick service from another happy friendly member of staff mac. He engaged in conversation with me whilst working I may add. I often use this KFC and said new staff a new person josh was putting together the orders working away and then a very pleasant lady think she may have been a team leader or manager her name was Ayesha she made eye contact and smiled i then told her how lovely her staff were. And she thanked me. This was the first time I have been in and out my order was correct and all there .the staff were friendly helpful and knew what they were ment to be doing it was stress free and I just wanted to get some recognition for the lovely team at Eastleigh KFC Mac,Jayden,josh and Ayesha thank you! regards Sarah ?

We had the absolute best experience with Wild Garlic catering our wedding! From the first conversation, Gavin and Jo were amazing – so friendly, organised, and genuinely invested in helping us have the perfect day. They were patient throughout the planning process and made everything feel easy.

The food was incredible – so many of our guests commented on how delicious it was. The canapés were a huge hit, and the main meal (especially the lamb!) blew everyone away with both flavour and generous portions. Everything was beautifully presented and full of flavour.

On the day, the service was flawless – smooth, professional, and warm. We felt totally looked after, and our guests did too. We’re so grateful to Gavin, Jo, and the whole Wild Garlic team for making our day so special. We’d recommend them in a heartbeat!
