Stopped at the happy cheese late Saturday night for dinner before an early morning ferry to IOW. Food was excellent and served quickly. Was really busy due to the festive period so was surprised how quick the service was, even at the bar when ordering. The staff were so friendly and helpful. Xmas lunch was lovely ! Billy the cook makes a love meal . Very friendly and he made sure everything was ok for us . This is a great pub for food and nice location for forest walking too !

Christmas meal was fantastic. Service was excellent, food came out quickly and was very, very tasty. Dietary requirements catered for and nothing was too much trouble. Very impressed and would highly recommend.
