Skylark Golf & Country Club

We booked the large function room and adjoining bar at Skylarks for my Auntie’s 90th birthday afternoon tea, and it was absolutely wonderful. The food was excellent, and the staff were incredibly helpful both in the lead-up to the event — patiently answering all our questions — and throughout the day itself. They assisted with setup, provided music facilities, and ensured all 50 guests were completely looked after.\n\nDebbie and the team were truly exceptional, and we would highly recommend Skylarks for anyone planning a similar celebration. The room offered fantastic views of the course, and we were never rushed — it really felt like a relaxed and special occasion. A fantastic experience all round!

Bar + Block Steakhouse Whiteley

Great meal at bar and block for a family birthday. The banner, card and chocolates were a lovely unexpected touch, thank you very much. A big thank you to Sarah who was great at serving us, very friendly. In fact all the staff were brilliant. Would highly recommend.

Five Guys Whiteley

Well, what can I say, I love a 5 guys burger, the freshness and taste of something that's not frozen then cooked, yeah it is pricey for a burger but it really is that good, love the chips too, rustic chips, yeahhhh, Milkshakes are very good too, all in all, pricey but worth it, Mcds you don't have a look in with these except on price

They cater extremely well for food allergies. \n\nStarters - gyozas, hot honey chicken - amazing ? \nMains - Katsu Curry, Steak Soba and Chicken Teriyaki Soba - again very tasty and delicious ? \nAlways too full to manage desserts but another time.

Came here for a bit of a pick me up with my husband. The food is lovely, the portions are however a little bit small where the bao buns are concerned. For the price that you pay there should either be an extra bun or a lower price. The mains that we ordered were tasty, loved the Thai fish it was absolutely lush! Would definatly come back but probably not for the buns as they were not cost effective. At the end it is a nice touch with the fortune cookie.

Baja Mexicali

Me, my wife, daughter & son in law all went to Baja Mexicali for an evening meal to celebrate our daughter's birthday, we all had an amazing starters and main meal , the food was fantastic and very tasty, the service was very attentive without being over bearing. We will be back to enjoy a fantastic meal.

Frankie & Benny's

Great food and staff, it’s always great at Whiteley! Ella was our server and did a great job ! The manager was visibly and working hard with the team! Thank you team Whiteley!!

Prezzo Italian Restaurant Fareham

We went here for lunch with our granddaughter who has a severe peanut allergy. What a refreshing experience to be able to enjoy a meal out with her and relax in the knowledge that this food establishment takes food allergies seriously. We were greeted by the manager who couldn’t have been nicer or more helpful. He looked after us the entire meal. This was my first experience at Prezzo and I was pleasantly surprised at how delicious the food was too, which isn’t always the case in big chain restaurants. This will definitely be on our list of safe go-to places to eat from now on.

Wildwood

This is one of my go to restaurants in Whiteley as I always have a good time and good food. My most recent visit was a little mixed; our Focaccia arrived burnt but was swiftly replaced with no problem at all. My Courgette and goats cheese pizza arrived with no goats cheese but again our waitress sorted that out promptly, we had to wait longer than normal but it didn’t really affect our evening. Overall the food was good except my husbands burger was overdone and not the best! The drinks, especially the Wildwood Special was fab as usual and the service from Georgia was excellent even though they were very busy. Will return.

Nando's Whiteley

Every nandos I've been to I've always had a present experience the same applies to the Whitley nandos. Always clean and the staff are always friendly. The food is always the way I like it and is quick to arrive I love nandos!

Subway Whiteley

Myself and work colleague are regulars in this Whiteley Subway, and we love it. Lou who serves us most of the time when there is always friendly and polite. The food is lovely and always perfectly made for us. Can't fault the cleanliness as always clean when we are in there. Big thumbs up from us

Parsons Collar

This is a regular stop off when I cross the channel by ferry. It's a nice building with ample outside seating which is very popular in warmer weather. It's always busy so I book. The food is not high end, but good. Last time I had a chicken fillet burger which was dry, this time I had pulled pork chips with cheese and crispy beef. Good sized portions and tasty. I ordered at the table and service was efficient once the server found me. Drinks are expensive a 250ml glass of white wine was £10.50. The thing i love about this place is that it is very dog friendly and has a circular woodland walk just by the car park which is excellent for exercising dogs before going on a ferry. I always come here and will continue to do so.

Costa Coffee

It's always a nice experience here. Great coffee and prompt, courteous service. I am a regular at Costa and am always served speedily, in spite of the fact that it was very busy today.

Starbucks Coffee

What can be said really. It's a great Starbucks and even when it's super busy the staff are friendly and very efficient. Don't walk away because the queue is big! You'll have your brew quickly trust me. Big thumbs up!

Caffè Nero

Love Neros, but recently the Nero on Whiteley has not been at its usual standard. Staff are lovely but it has clearly been understaffed over the last few weeks. The tables are not getting cleared and dishes pile up. I understand its been a busy period but today the 5th January yet again the tables were still in desperate need of clearing. Only 2 lovely ladies working their hardest. A third person is needed. If one of the ladies leaves taking orders, the queue gets longer. They can't win. Come on Neros, plenty of people looking for work!
