I have been here many times. The location is excellent. The food is generally very good for what it is, especially the cakes and bakes which are up there with the best in the city in my opinion. However, it has I think been a victim of its own success. The service levels are not good and these days when I go it feels overwhelmed and chaotic resulting in a poor vibe and poor experience. This is an amazing cafe in a fantastic location. The walk from Winchester city is about 15 mins and it is beautiful. You can also sit outside with a great view. Dogs are welcome. The food is good- cakes and sandwiches in particular. The service was friendly.

Love this place. We go regularly after walking St. Catherine's Hill. The staff are always friendly and sometimes we have a good giggle with them! The coffee is good and the size generous. My husband loves the cakes!
