Clean rooms. Nice linens.Nobody was there when I checked in. There was a letter with my keys saying due to an event (outdated as the event was already done a while ago) breakfast was from 6:30-8. That's early. Ended up just buying breakfast somewhere else.
There was a friendly gentleman who was power washing the chairs outside, but no reception otherwise. They did leave our keys and a letter waiting, and they did apologise for not being there to greet us. It was OK but had we had issues I don't know what we would have done.The room was small and simple, it was only the basic one. It was fine, TV, shower, hair dryer, kettle etc the usual. Took my Mum for Sunday lunch here as pressie for her birthday. Sat outside on newly furbished patio in glorious setting. The lunch itself was excellent with plenty of food for all. Service fantastic and great value for money. Plenty of room for kids to run around in grounds. Definitely will return ?
