Fantastic food and good atmosphere. Didn't have to reserve but there were a few people in there (a Tuesday). Food felt freshly prepared. Bar tender was very polite. The pub is card payment only.

We came here for dinner, and received a warm greeting - order at the bar, so no table service. Not much of a selection of wines, but I was very happy with my Kiwi Sauvignon and husband very happy with a good beer selection. I did need a stiff drink, having seen the prices on the menu - £19 for a burger? We live within the M25 and this is more than we pay in London/Surrey! We were a party of six...I believe 5/6 had the Fish (Hake) and Chips and was really good. Probably the best fish and chips we've had on the British Isles. Service was great and had 3 or 4 different servers come over and ensure we had everything we needed. Our BnB had recommended a different location but it was full (Sunday Lunch, no surprise) and glad it was as we might not have had such a great lunch.
