The Monkland Arms
A44, LeominsterWe stayed overnight in our camper including EU. A warm welcome was given and even kept the kitchen open for us. We chose our food and played board games with our grandson whilst it was freshly cooked. We couldn't knock anything. Even our fussy eating grandson told chef how amazing his Chicken Burger was. We will certainly be back in the next month or two. Thanks for the lovely welcome Tracy, Jonathan, Bruce and Benny the dog.

Kimbolton, LeominsterMy partner and I had a lovely meal here as we spotted it on the way past going home. The food was exceptional, steak was cooked to perfection and my steak and ale pie was so delicious. Great prices and a lovely ambiance.

Would have given 5 stars if it hadn't taken 90 minutes to arrive (when they said it would take 30) and would have given 1 star if the food hadn't been so delicious. The annoyance at having to wait so long washed away as we tucked in to the delicious curries. Hopefully won't take as long next time.

The staff are very helpful and friendly.
And the manager is an absolute delight. He was charming and helpful throughout and delivered the beautifully hot food bang on time.

Barons' Cross Rd, LeominsterFood is always very good . However the whole cafe area needs to be kept clean and tidy. It is only a cafe but tables need to be cleared and the floor kept clean. Every time we visit tables have not been cleared and food all on the floor. More staff needed!

8 West St, LeominsterJust had my first delivery from tower went above and beyond for me. I live ever so slightly out of there delivery zone so had been hard to get a delivery. Tonight wene I explained I was half mile past there point delivery they came well before the said time so perfect for time driver was perfect found my house no problem at all with directions off the Beaton track and just tried food. Best kebab in town cooked to perfection and well presented and hot . I will definitely use again thanks there pizza for going above and beyond to help me.

It offers a warm welcome, a great bar offering a range of fab beers & wines. The food offered is all home cooked & above average in terms of quality, quantity & value. Yes, it's dated but that doesn't detract from the overall experience, in fact I think it's all part of a charming offer. Dogs are also warmly welcomed.
Vegetarian options: My wife & I are both vegetarians and opted for the veggie lasagne & the five bean chilli. Both were very generous, pipping hot & exceptional value, all served by a lovely team of staff.

Reasonable prices for a very important cause. Set in an estate with many aladins cave shops Inc a large st Michael's hospice shop. Well worth spending hours walking round the shops with of course many breaks in this pretty little cafe. They also offer takeaway.

I will award an additional star for the most random ‘reduced item’ ever - a fish head. Beat that.
Yea it’s just Morrisons with the usual moody staff growling at you but the 2 bonus stars makes an impressive 8/10!

26 West St, LeominsterI had the prawn Pad Thai at Yoko’s and it was absolutely delicious! The prawn crackers were honestly the best I’ve ever had, and everyone else’s dishes looked and tasted amazing too. It was so good I went back the next night and ordered the spring rolls and chicken Massaman curry – both were just as incredible. Even the chips were amazing! Yoko herself is an amazing woman and it’s so great to see her doing so well. Highly recommend.

Such a hidden gem — with very reasonable prices too! If I had to pick something, the dessert was the only thing that didn’t impress, but everything else we loved and can’t recommend enough! We’d definitely go back when visiting the Brecon Beacons again.

Market Square, Pembridge, LeominsterWe arrived late in the village on a Sunday evening and pretty much everything else was closed. But we heard people chatting turned the corner to find a few tables outside of a lovely old fashioned village pub.
About 30 mins after our arrival I was enjoying a wonderful minted lamb with potatoes and fresh veg. It was wonderful. (Pretty decent ale too!).
The staff and locals were very friendly and welcoming.

9-13 Corn Square, LeominsterWalking through Leominster before our train we opted to eat at the Flying Dutchman as a nice local cafe. Whilst my partner opted for the standard non-light English breakfast I went for their wildcard option of Fried Chicken Benedict.
Both were absolutely delicious, if we found ourselves in Leominster in the morning again we'd definitely pop in again!
We also grabbed a sandwich to go downstairs for our train journey, again, delicious!
The overall atmosphere in the cafe was fantastic, I've only marked it down a bit because there were so many people sat around that seemed to be coughing openly that spoiled it a bit for us ?

Staff are so friendly, I wish I could give 6 stars !! See you in September!!!!

1 Dishley St, LeominsterI used amores nearly every week sometimes 2 times a week food was good for Leominster. Until I came out of hospital. I would always have food delivered and would tip all time my orders on my own would be £20+and as a family sometimes a lot more .Until I over heard a member of staff asking the boss who was outside shouting at the girl telling her no to delivey and shouting at her I was on phone she was outside. So I put the phone down since I've been parked there and alway see him outside on his phone and other members of staff smoking and going back in and not washing hands there hygen may look good but there personal hygiene is poor even sat with there uniform on. Like I said food was good shame about the smoking side things even if I had seen them wash there hand it would not been so much a problem. His attitude stinks he lost my custom he will happily deliver to a half mile away from me for free I never expected it for free the driver would always get the change or even a £5 tip as it was good to have food delivered wene I could not walk and was at home on my own. Sit and watch them and your see what I am saying. Rant over.... poor service. Since found grillogagy and tower have better service and food as nice.

The Riverside Inn, Aymestrey, LeominsterOur first visit here, chosen for my husband's birthday as we were staying in the area. And it had great reviews. We weren't disappointed! Absolutely outstanding food, quality was superb, staff friendly and attentive, lovely atmosphere (esp given it was a Monday evening). Will definitely come again when we are in the area.

The Bateman Arms at Shobdon
Shobdon, LeominsterWent for a drink and was welcomed by the bar staff/owners. Very welcoming and hospitable, we checked out the menu and we will be back for food! Clean, welcoming , affordable and to top it off a secure beer garden where dogs are welcome!
