I pop in here less often than I woukd like to as I live in Hemel. However the welcome I get is always warm and friendly. Barry and Lynn are so welcoming. I have to say that the breakfast is superb. Fresh and the best indegrients, all for a reasonable price. There is another seated area towards the rear of the restaurant which offers ample laptop space and good WiFi. You will find everything for your palate here whether it's breakfast, brunch or dinner. My only regret is that it is not located in Hemel, otherwise I would come here every week.

I am at POPEYES RICHMOND for the first time. Their customer service is fantastic. Couldn’t see Halal certificate anywhere. I did ask one of the employees there, who had kindly told me that the gravy was haram, but all the chicken was Halal. I will be coming back as the food and customer service were great!!

Excellent service from all members of staff. We were looked after mainly by Johnny but shown to our table by a young gentleman who looked of Indian/Asian origin as well as a couple of waitresses who looked to be shadowing the waiters. Service was relaxed yet attentive, efficient and helpful without being at all overbearing.

Food was great, menu appeared small initially with one A4 side of a la carte options and a set menu for £29.90 on the reverse. Flexible dining - set meals need not be purchased by all diners at the table so we enjoyed two set menus and a few tapas between 4, which still left us incredibly full and unable to enjoy dessert at the restaurant (so we took it away, no problem).

Overall, a bit pricey at £180 for 4 but we were very well-fed and happily so. Not somewhere I would eat often but good for occasions.

We had our daughter’s christening party here over the weekend and the team were absolutely amazing. A huge shout out to Amber, Rod, and George - you truly went above and beyond!!

The food was fantastic — so many of our guests commented on how delicious everything was. From helping with preparations and decorating, to sorting out drinks ahead of time and even organising the music, you made sure the whole day ran seamlessly.

We couldn’t recommend The Royal Oak enough for a special occasion. Thank you so so much for making our celebration so memorable!

Tarboush is a great spot in Watford for Lebanese food. The menu is packed with flavourful dishes, and everything we ordered tasted fresh and well-cooked. The grilled meats were juicy and well seasoned, and the sides like hummus and tabbouleh were spot on. The atmosphere is lively and welcoming, and the staff were friendly. My only negative is that when we first went there, they offered to just feed us for a fixed price per head and we got brought a wide variety of food which was amazing. This has changed now and you can only have this option if there are at least 6 of you. Nevertheless, still highly recommended

First time at this establishment on a very busy Saturday evening. We were a large group, pre-booked, adults, kids, and a wheelchair user.
The servers were excellent; cheerful, and never leaving us wanting or waiting for anything.
Menu stated Spaghetti Carbonra. I requested Tagliatelle pasta instead of the Spaghetti, no issue in the slightest making the adaptation.
Food was an excellent standard. Honestly the best Carbonara I've had in the UK to date.
I highly recommend this establishment.

Peri Peri Watford is hands down one of the best spots in town for flavorful, freshly cooked chicken. Every time I visit, the food is consistently tasty, and the service is quick and friendly. Their peri peri chicken is perfectly grilled—juicy inside with just the right amount of char and heat on the outside.

The portion sizes are generous, and they’ve got a great range of spice levels to suit everyone’s taste. I especially love their hot and extra hot sauces for that proper kick! The sides like the spicy rice and peri fries are always on point, too.

The restaurant is clean, well-maintained, and has a nice casual vibe whether you’re dining in or taking away. Prices are reasonable for the quality and portions you get.

Highly recommend if you’re craving bold flavors and great chicken in Watford. Will definitely be coming back!

Another fantastic lunch at TC. Christmas day lunch, the most stressful day for the hospitality sector. As expected, there was a delay, so we attended the bar and prepared ourselves for the forthcoming feast. When seated, our starters were delivered swiftly and with amazing composure. The staff, inspite of the unfair abuse given them by various rude half-witted customers, were determined to deliver a professional, festive service and this, certainly for our table, they achieved with absolute aplomb. We queued for the meats and discovered that this was possibly one of the reasons why the seating schedule had fallen behind. The chef frequently left the servery for no apparent reason and, upon returning, would serve two or three customers before disappearing again. This, however, should not detract from the quality of the meat. It was very, very good quality. The vegetables, once again, we're superb. The portion was just too big to consume completely and the lovely staff kindly provided take away boxes. Our desserts were, once again, of the sweetest order and our table service we're the most patient one could wish for. An absolutely fantastic, three course meal served by really wonderful staff who, by the time we had left, were running two hours over their Christmas day shift. The team are a credit to the company and I'd like to thank them for wonderful efforts.

I've been coming to this cafe with my family for at least 10 years. It's highly accessible via lifts for anyone with wheelchairs or pushchairs, I've never had an issue getting a table and the staff are friendly. After so many years coming they know us by sight! The food is simple, with lots of filling options for sandwiches/baguettes or other choices. Veggie options as well. The coffee is especially good, always piping hot. Can't fault it as a straightforward and inexpensive cafe that's that feels a little above the hustle and bustle of the shopping mall due to its elevated position.

One sip and I felt like I could run for Prime Minister, clean my entire house, and still have the energy left over to argue with strangers on Facebook. My dentist, however, will be putting a deposit down on a yacht after my next check-up.\n\nThe ambience? Magical. Nothing pairs better with a sugar high than listening to Sharon from Accounts absolutely roast her manager over a Teams call while you’re trying to find a seat that isn’t covered in spilt frappuccino. And those little wooden stirrers, the ones that snap in half before you’ve even stirred? Top quality. Honestly, IKEA could take notes.\n\nAll in all, Starbucks Watford delivered: great coffee, mild identity theft, and enough background noise to qualify as a workplace simulator. Would I return? Wow. what can I say about Roti Pan that all the other reviews haven't already said. I have been going to roti Pan for years and I recommend them to everyone I speak to. The jerk chicken comes fresh off the BBQ cooked right there on the high street! Proper flavour and proper flame. The curry goat is absolutely delicious, the meat falls apart and the flavour is perfect! the dumplings are amazing, the perfect mix of light and crispy, soft and fluffy. Their homemade slaw is delicious and is the perfect accompaniment to the rest of the dishes. The plantain is sticky, sweet and cooked to perfection...just get there early before they sell out! The mac and cheese is also great, lovely flavour and lovely on the side. The portions are generous and the price is extremely reasonable considering the quality these guys serve up! We usually always order all of the above because everything is so nice its too hard to decide! We collect or get delivered through one of the delivery services. Best Caribbean food in Hertfordshire!

I went with my daughters and we had jacket potato and we were very happy with our food. The staff were nice and friendly. I didn’t know they had redecorated the place and changed the table and chairs. It looked new and different from other cafes. We will definitely visit again. ☺️

I popped in unplanned as the Chinese was closed, but I was not disappointed. I had a large chicken shish and medium chips, which came to around £17, so not cheap, but I would have spent more than that at the other restaurant. The shish was cooked to order and I really liked their 'homemade' style chilli sauce - often I've found some chippies use almost a ketchup/chilli mix. The staff were great, the lady greeted me really warmly when I walked in. I didn't have to wait too long for my food, and it was all still piping hot when I got home, including the chips. I'll definitely be going back.

Interior beautiful, selection decorated. Superbly austere. An independent local delicacy both in nature and in nurture. How high can you raise the bar? This place sets it. Outstanding customer service with quality but still reasonably priced chips. Although I am yet to receive my chips, I have high hopes and there has been a high bar to set. Beautifully interiorally designed with well lit, hygienic kitchens and tables. With glass on the outside so clean I could lick it, I was invited with a warm look by bossman into the shop. Like music to my ears the music was in my ears, Bruno mars serenaded my ears like a hippo into water, like a baby being born into the world of max peri peri. Just eat and deliveroo offered, outstanding customer relationships and heartwarming family feel. With clean and warm appearance, they even offer curry’s and kebabs too! What a beautiful place of sheer natural beauty, which I have been blessed with. Thank you for making my day. I love you max peri peri. I will never go to rival kebab shops again x

We had dinner. The stater was so good. Seafood devil and mutton chukka was soo good. The flavour was spot one. For the main we had seafood fried rice,crab curry,curd rice and puttu. The fried rice was cooked to perfection and the flavour soo good. The curry and puttu ok. The highlight was the curd rice. So good with the lime pickle combination. Top level. Overall good place to dine in. Just disappointed with wine which was gone with the taste. Keep up guys.
