We have been in Cowes for part of the year over the last five years. This was our first visit to the Little Gloster. It was terrific. The food was excellent and the wine list very accessible. Even though a grey day being on the water is a treat. The service was friendly and relaxed. I had gravadlax and a flat iron steak with delicious chips--and I am not a great lover of chips. We stayed here one night for our first anniversary, in the Balcony Suite. Beautiful location, on entering the room the view literally takes your breath away. We had a couple of drinks downstairs in the bar ( & sat outside for one, it was a pleasant day ) & while doing so asked Holly where she would recommend to go for dinner that evening.
