We decided to visit Cowes for the day and as it was Sunday we decided lunch would be good. Lots of places where this was on offer. We asked around and were advised to go to Pier View. We are not Sunday roast people but what we were served was amazing. The beef was cooked just to our liking as were the vegetables and the “Yorkshire”. We met up with a friend who we have not seen for 20 years. The service & food was excellent especially the young girl who served us (with piercings) who was very attentive & a credit to the pub. We live on the island & will definitely return.

Had a lovely meal last night. I have a mobility problem; despite it being quiz night and very busy the 2 members of staff who dealt with us went out of their way to sort out a table, necessitating moving furniture etc and generally making sure my wife and I were comfortable. Thanks ladies (you know who you are) for all your help, you made a difference.
