We were visiting from London and stumbled upon this place. We really enjoyed our visit. Great music had us sitting there for ages! Great atmosphere for a Friday evening and very nice, happy, friendly staff. They also showed the sport which was a win win for my husband.
Great food. Slightly lacking in service, ie didn't ask if we wanted more drinks (we would have ordered more) and didn't ask if we wanted dessert (we wouldn't, we were stuffed!).We would go here again.

Walking past this pub from Canterbury West railway station towards the town, (The pub) The Cricketers seemed to be a cut above the others. We noticed a sign, 'best fish & chips in C/bury', and they wasn't wrong! The fish is soo white and moist; the light & crispy batter is also what makes this delightful dish the BEST we have ever tasted. Well done The Cricketers.
