So disappointing when eating out one expects to find food presented as good as what you eat at home and as cooked by professional chefs much better. Vegetables are either under or overcooked and not much flavour, I had roast beef and was ok on a previous visit I had pork which was too tough to eat, you might ask why I ate there again but was invited by friends who paid the bill.why do many Sunday lunches include oversized Yorkshire puddings that are totally tasteless. The service was good and friendly. There is a selection of local ales. The food was ordered and arrived in a reasonable time. The food was good and we had no complaints. It just lacked slightly on presentation.

I had my birthday party here and it was brilliant. Stuart (excellent chef) made fantastic tasting bowls of food for the guests which were delicious. The variety was excellent and all of it was incredibly tasty! The pub as always was incredibly welcoming and full of fun. Byron and Leah were as always fantastic and they really worked hard to make the evening outstanding. Thank you!
