We were in the area visiting Knole and wanted to have lunch after in a pub. We googled and found the Bricklayers Arms. On arrival we could park outside and the view was overlooking a lovely lake! On entering the pub we were immediately greeted by the staff and given menus. My partner really wanted ham, egg and chips and wasn’t disappointed as it was on the menu served with lovely thick ham. Looked on Google maps for somewhere near the M25/A21 junction and Bricklayers came up so called in on the off chance of a table. Arrived about 18:30 and all but one table was reserved so we were very lucky. We were seated in the restaurant which had a cosy atmosphere. Our waiter (sorry didn’t get his name but he reminded us of Tom Daley!) was very friendly and suitably attentive. The team at the Bricks laid on a perfect party for my birthday! Bat staff excellent, Helen did a superb job feeding everyone and the entertainment was the best! Thank you to Mel, Helen, Ross, Max & the lovely ladies in the restaurant. Great job!
