We came here for Sunday lunch after coming here a few years ago and being disappointed with choice and portions. But has now completely changed, meal was really good and service excellent not only waitress but also the manager, who doesn’t stop he’s all over every aspect of running the restaurant and pub.I really hope he is appreciated.Dietary restrictions: Waitress and manager were really helpful with my dairy intolerance
The only choice of menu was the set menu. While it tried to be fancy, it was not anything special. So small we considered getting a takeaway! Costed £185 for 4 people without wine. You make up your mind. People still want value for money, especially in this economic climate. Won’t be going back there in the future.

After a long country walk we popped in for a little lunch. We ordered the bacon and sausage roll which took a long time to come and was very dry and overcooked. Could not taste any bacon. So very disappointed. Won’t hurry back.
