This was for a family get together of 13 people. Sophie our waitress was brilliant, very attentive and cheery. Food was exquisite, portion sizes were filling and tasted delicious. I would recommend the Blackberry and Apple Crumble Tart with Blackberry Sorbet.
We (family of four) stopped here for lunch yesterday. We hadn’t booked but they were so welcoming. Seated us immediately and, despite lots of people arriving at the same time, the staff were all really efficient and attentive. The food- we all had a roast- was AMAZING!!! We stopped here as a couple for Sunday lunch after a walk around the grounds of Knowle Park. The pub was busy but not over crowded or manic. All the staff we encountered were absolutely charming and attentive. Our meals were delicious and as a gluten free diner I was really well catered for. The sticky toffee pudding was particularly yummy! We will definitely return. If only all pubs were this great.
