A great place to stop by when in the area. A few miles off the A21 but worth the effort as plenty of space and nice menu. Bar area and a separate restaurant room that was more of an extension to the bar tables. Clearly room in there for a party. We stopped for sunday lunch and had a nice roast. They offer different size lunch plate depending on how hungry you are. All freshly cooked as such a small wait but worth it Great service and sensible prices

Immediately felt made to feel special and like a regular customer. Cottage pie was really good had a special smokiness to it. Would definitely return, although an hour and a half from where we live so not local. If over this way again will make special trip to return. Lovely welcoming environment ?
