Moorcock House, Gisburn Rd, Blacko, NelsonWhat a lovely little find, called in quite late but nothing was too much trouble, sat outside over looking the valley which is gorgeous. We order the sandwiches fish finger and the club which normally stop serving at 4pm but again this wasn’t an issue, both were delicious. Service was 5* friendly and casual and we even got some cakes to take away. Definitely recommend you stop, you won’t be disappointed.

Noggarth Tea Gardens
Noggarth Rd, Roughlee, BurnleyLovely tea room and garden. We came to have brunch for my Dister birthday. Great food at a good price. Beautiful countryside round the tea room garden. Friendly service couldn't do enough for us. Food came out quick. Will be coming back again ?

The Bay Horse
Blacko Bar Rd, Roughlee, NelsonLovely pub in a scenic small country village. Called in for a drink as it seem like an ideal rest stop whilst out on a family walk. The young lady behind the bar was great, very informative and helped us out by giving us directions back to Barley where we had parked. We didn't eat as we had a picnic but from what we saw the menu looked really good with reasonable prices. Wouldn't hesitate to go back again and eat there next time. And thanks to the young lady we made it back to the car in one piece.
