We actually left the Fleece at Penwortham which used to be a nice place . to come here as it was noisy and tatty and menu no pics...What a contrast the Ribble Pilot is! a light airy and Clean place, some quiet areas to sit..No live sport .yaay.... friendly staff and good food that looks like it's been cooked properly not out of a freezer bag as with many chains these days. We are always pleasantly surprised at how nice this place is given it's been there for decades. Well done...read full review

Friendly staff who showed us our table and explained how to order food and drinks at the bar.We ordered our food and drink at the bar and were greeted again with a smile.The food came in good time,prawn cocktail was well presented and tasty,then we each had a roast turkey dinner which was very tasty and varied items on the plate.The atmosphere was good and even though busy not noisy.

Served at the Bar by Sally. Sally was helpful, understanding and funny. The place is very hospitable for a Saturday afternoon. Food come exceptionably quick. All in all very happy for second time and will definitely be here again. Would recommend to friends and family. :) <3
