Shortheath Rd, Moira, SwadlincoteWe're staying at the nearby caravan site, Conkers Discovery wouldn't let us in with the dog for their music event so we decided to look for a pub. Stumbled across the Rawdon Arms. Looked tired from outside, empty car park, but we thought we'd give it a go. Got inside, it was heaving, in a nice way. Didn't expect that. About 10 mins in, behind us, a group started singing shanties. Next thing, it seems the whole pub is involved. What a wonderful couple of hours we spent in there.

The Hub Cafe
Furnace Ln, Moira, SwadlincoteSmall cozy cafe with nice indoor seating but limited and some outdoor seating too if the weather is good for it.
Food was amazing the best toastie ive had, bacon was spot on and the cheese was perfect. If your neat the area for a walk or passing through definitely worth a bite.
